Salida’s Median home price was $249,776

Average price per square foot in Salida= $167

73 homes are currently for sale,
19 of these are under contract

 

Based on recent real estate sales, Salida is growing in size and popularity.  The median price for a home in Salida has climbed from $228,000 in 2013 to almost $250,000 in 2014.  This is a 9% gain and the highest median home  price we’ve seen in Salida.  The total number of  sales is still below the 2007 peak (see chart), but at the same time the highest in 6 years and continuing to trend higher.   Good deals sell quickly these days, especially in the lower price ranges.
