Located in a natural meadow at the foot of 14,265′ Mt. Antero near the town of Nathrop (about half way between Buena Vista and Salida, CO), Mesa Antero is a beautiful subdivision that retains much of the area’s original natural setting.  Up close views of the Chalk Cliffs and massive 14,000 ft high Collegiate Peaks are amazing from this neighborhood.  Lot sizes tend to be around 2 acres, prices range from under $80,000 to over $200,000; Brown’s Creek runs through some of the lots, higher priced lots also tend to be larger and better tree cover.  There is a gate to access National Forest from the west side of the neighborhood and a nice community area in the central portion.  It’s about 15 minutes to Salida, 10 to Buena Vista and even less to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort, the Chalk Cliffs, Colorado Trail and many other nearby attractions.
